Prohibited & Restricted Items

Sellers may only list items that are legal to sell and ship and that comply with Jaat policies. Our marketplace is focused on phones, electronics, and beauty products, and certain items are prohibited or restricted to protect buyers and comply with law.

Prohibited items (no listing allowed)

• Counterfeit or replica goods, including fake phones/electronics and counterfeit beauty products.
• Stolen goods or items without proof of ownership.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and related paraphernalia.
• Weapons, explosives, ammunition.
• Hazardous materials not permitted for shipment.
• Personal data/identity documents, government IDs.
• Adult content that violates local laws.
• Items infringing third-party IP.

Restricted items (additional rules may apply)

• Unlocked or used phones/electronics: must be genuine, not blacklisted, and accurately described.
• Beauty/cosmetics: must be authentic, safe for use, and comply with local labeling laws.
• Medical devices and supplements: subject to applicable regulations; listings may be removed if non-compliant.
• Food/perishables: must meet safety and labeling requirements; some items may be disallowed.

Authenticity

Phones, electronics, and beauty products must be genuine, clearly described, and include accurate photos. Counterfeit items or listings that mislead buyers will be removed and may lead to account action.

Reporting

If you see a listing that violates these rules, report it. Jaat may remove listings, suspend accounts, or take other action for policy or legal violations.
